Our landscape maintenance team are hoping to get early start on 2024-25 growing season and are due to start their programme of first cuts on Monday, 18th March 2024 throughout our stock areas.
All six staff passed PA1 & PA6 Herbicide Training to allow treatment on moss and weeds during drier periods in this season. This also included two Horticultural Apprentices that are Funded by I.C. Modern Apprentice Programme, learning practical skills (on job training) with Oak Tree.
As part of this they will be working to cut grass in communal spaces, which includes spraying of moss in areas. We have worked through our Winter Shrub Maintenance, but the team will be trimming, and shaping as new growth appears over the coming months. We are working to a programme. However, depending on the workload this may be subject to change.
